Queen’s Hotel, Portsmouth

Actually, it’s on Clarence Parade, Southsea. The Queen’s Hotel (also known as Queens) was built in 1903, designed in what’s known as ‘Edwardian Baroque’ by architect  T W Cutler, to replace an earlier Queen’s Hotel on the site, which was gutted by fire on Sunday 8th December 1891, with fatalities.
